ount= Fellow American,

Have we had enough of Democrats and their pet
projects yet? Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi just unveiled her
latest COVID-19 stimulus package, the Health and Economic Recovery
Omnibus Emergency Solutions Act, or HEROES Act.

The act is 1,800
pages long and includes $3 trillion in spending. It also includes
improved access to banking services for the marijuana industry. Why in
the world is cannabis included in a bill that’s supposed to help
families and small businesses across the country?

Nancy Pelosi and
her liberal friends in Congress spent weeks stalling additional funds
to the vital Paycheck Protection Program included in the CARES Act, and
now she wanted to include a pet marijuana project in a new
mega-spending bill? What other nonsense is in there?

Our Senate
Republican leader Mitch McConnell called this bill a “laundry list of
pet priorities” and I agree with him.

We need to focus on real
priorities, like the tens of millions of people who are out of work, or
the businesses across the nation being forced to permanently close
their doors due to the shutdown. We need to come up with a real plan
for how to safely get back to work and get the economy humming again.
Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and the rest of the liberal elites in
Washington need to put the partisan projects aside and do what’s best
for all Americans. It’s time to put people over politics.

P.S. It’s clearer than ever before we need more principled,
conservative leaders in Congress.
