Honoring Illinois' Fallen

The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker that all person or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor of:

Chicago Police Officer Enrique Martinez, 26, who tragically died in the line of duty on Monday, November 4, 2024, as he was conducting a traffic stop. Officer Martinez had been appointed to the Chicago Police Department on December 27, 2021, and served for nearly three years.

Please lower the United States flags and the State flags

at all buildings occupied by your agency’s personnel from:

Sunrise Thursday, November 14, 2024

until Sunset Monday, November 18, 2024
