Big news, y'all! Senator Cornyn, aka the "Top Salesman" for repealing the Affordable Care Act, just encouraged Texans to "take advantage of the law [he] fought to destroy" in an interview.

Y'all -- Texans are sick and tired of this kind of self-interested hypocrisy by career politician Senator Cornyn. As we confront this pandemic, Texans cannot afford their elected leaders playing political games with their health care. We need health care coverage and we need a leader who is unafraid to fight for it.

The real "good news" here:
MJ Hegar is ready to fight for our health care coverage.

Senator Cornyn has been in DC eighteen years, yet Texas still has the HIGHEST uninsured rate in the nation. He voted to gut the ACA twenty times, but now he's telling Texans to use it to get health insurance while he watches his allies try to destroy it in court!

MJ, on the other hand, has consistently advocated for expanding and improving our health care coverage.

We can't expect Sen. Cornyn to start prioritizing people and their health care anytime soon. Pitch in to make sure MJ can take his seat and put the health of Texans first.

It's clear we need a real leader for Texas and a Senate that prioritizes our health care. More than ever, we're relying on online fundraising to keep building the campaign we need to win in November, and we greatly appreciate your continued support >> [link removed]

However, we know this is not an easy time for many. If you'd like to pause receiving fundraising emails for the next few weeks, please let us know here ([link removed]). We'll still keep in touch with important information and to ask your thoughts from time to time.
