Fellow PA Union Volunteers,

As Democracy Defenders, we know that many of you may be feeling a mix of shock, frustration and anger following this election.  While we take time to reflect on the outcome, each in our own way, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each of you for your unwavering commitment to standing up for democracy.  THANK YOU for all the hard work that you put in right up to, and including, Election Day!  

Our volunteers devoted countless hours - on the ground, making calls, sending texts, writing postcards, driving voters to the polls, and so much more – all in the fight for our democracy.   For those of you who are still working on Ballot Curing, we appreciate your continued dedication to seeing this through.  

While we may not have seen many wins at the top of the ticket in Pennsylvania, we did achieve some victories in the House of Representatives, and we successfully held the PA State House.  These are important wins, and they matter.

We know the incoming administration poses a serious threat, with the potential for lasting damage.  But there’s one thing they cannot take from us: our commitment to caring for ourselves, each other, and our communities.  So, take the time you need to heal, and prepare to move forward.  When you’re ready, we here at The Union are ready to support you as you re-engage and continue this effort.

Thank you once again for your tireless efforts.  Together, we will keep pushing forward.
