From the Editor

My inbox has been filled with stories about advocates within various communities ever since the launch of our updated local Scorecard data. These individuals have expressed creative ideas on how they can use data to make a difference in their neighborhoods.

We've also been relishing in excitement of our wins with VITA permanence and manufactured housing; along with the reintroduction of the American Opportunity Accounts Act—also known as baby bonds—late last month by Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-MA-7).

This month’s newsletter highlights the different approaches we can take toward accomplishing economic justice for all of America’s diverse communities including holding collaborative events; improving the way we deliver programs such as Children’s Savings Accounts; and drafting legislative proposals.

Read more about this month's topics below!

Sincerely,

Kristin Lawton
Senior Director of Communications
