It starts with "isn't loyal enough to Donald Trump" but could very well escalate to "refuses to order the military to engage in door-to-door deportation sweeps" or even "was unwilling to fire on American protestors." The thought of a US military whose leadership is entirely loyal to Donald Trump is beyond terrifying.

Unlike in the Senate, House members can't be immediately replaced with an appointment; they remain vacant until a special election can be held, giving Democrats a chance to pick off the empty seats and stifle GOP votes. Trump has already named two House Republicans, Conference Chair Elise Stefanik and Rep. Mike Waltz to positions within his incoming administration. “He can’t pick many more. Our majority is way too thin,” said an anonymous House Republican. Oh, sure he can.
