1) It’s Official: Illegal Immigration and Inflation Sunk Kamala's Campaign
Newly released polling data shows fairly conclusively that the number one and number two issues that moved voters away from Biden/Harris in last week's election were inflation and illegal immigration.
The only other issues that came close in terms of registering with voters were the bizarre transgender policies and the multi-trillion-dollar rise in the debt under Harris and Biden. Thanks to our friend Jon Sutz for pointing this chart out to us.
2) Speaking of the Debt – Biden Added Nearly $6 Trillion
Fiscal analyst Brian Riedl of the Manhattan Institute has just published his Budget Chartbook, and it shows that President Biden's policies added more than $4 trillion to the national debt:
But this analysis includes more than $1.5 trillion of phony budget “savings” that are unlikely to ever materialize.
Trump is REALLY going to have his work cut out for him.

A common theme of these pages is that the U.S. economy is the hub of the world economy, and every other nation is a spoke. We are the center of the financial world.
This chart shows how dependent the rest of the world is on U.S. monetary policy. It shows that when the dollar was devalued under Biden to accommodate the Biden spending spree (see above), nearly every other major country saw prices escalate at the same time. Worldwide inflation peaked at the exact moment in the summer of 2022, when the U.S. inflation rate peaked at 9.1%.
What this picture is really showing is that the entire world is essentially dollarized. When Biden kept trying to deflect blame for higher grocery and gas prices by saying that inflation was high all over the world – he was right. But that is because we exported our reckless fiscal policy and higher prices all over the globe.
One lesson here: The best form of U.S. foreign aid is to keep the dollar stable here at home.
4) FEMA Scandal of Bypassing Hurricane Victims if They Were Trump Supporters Widens
This escalated quickly.
Fired FEMA official Marn'i Washington took to the Roland Martin show to fire back at the Biden administration higher-ups who tried to scapegoat her as the one bad apple who skipped over houses with Trump signs for disaster assistance. But apparently, the crisis ran deeper within the deep state:
[FEMA] alleged that these actions were made on my own recognizance and that it was for my own political advances. However, if you look at the record, there is what we call a community trend. And unfortunately, it just so happened that the political hostility that was encountered by my team, and I was on two different teams during this deployment, they just so happened to have the Trump campaign signage. FEMA always preaches avoidance first and then de-escalation. So this is not isolated. This is a colossal event of avoidance, not just in the state of Florida, but you will find avoidance [of Trump supporters] in the Carolinas. Senior leadership will lie to you and tell you that they do not know. But if you ask the [Disaster Survivor Assistance] crew leads and specialists what they are experiencing in the field, they will tell you. Demand for FEMA to give you those incident reports.
Given these new revelations, don’t be surprised if the media and other liberals start to argue that the mean Trump supporters deserved to be passed over.
