<<<THERE’S STILL TIME: SUBMIT YOUR FEEDBACK AND HELP SHAPE THE NO LABELS MOVEMENT>>> ([link removed] )

John,

Last week marked a pivotal moment in American political history. As the nation and the world prepare for Donald Trump’s second term, No Labels is taking this time to reflect on the election results and consider the path forward for our movement.

On Friday, we reached out for your thoughts on what this moment means for our country, and the response was incredible, with hundreds of you weighing in. Here are some of the highlights from what you shared:

Joe P. - Beaumont, TX: “The election is over, and it is now time for us to focus on where we want to go as a country. Regardless of how we voted, I pray that each of us can come together to promote policies that will lead to prosperity and peace. While those who supported Vice President Harris may question the future, I have a message of hope for you. I believe that our best days can be ahead of us if we stop focusing on what divides us and begin focusing on all that we share.”

Will B. - Hilton Head Island, SC: “As a past philosopher king of our great nation put it: ‘We have met the enemy, and he is us.’ It’s our responsibility to try to mend fences and come together. The fact that many today get their information and share ideas online is worrisome. Open, face-to-face exchanges would be more wholesome. After all, we are citizens of the same great country.”

James P. - Birmingham, AL: “As the footlights dim and the curtain closes on election season, someone in D.C. had better learn how to pick up the pen and write real legislation — preferably under 1,000 pages. Our courts have put down a challenge for both sides: less legislative abdication and more co-equal branch governing. Whoever gets this right will make a real difference in Congress.”

Brenda C. - La Porte, TX: “Trump won the popular vote as well as the Electoral College. He won support from people of all walks of life. I think this shows us that it’s time to come together as Americans, put our differences behind us, and make this country great.”

William C. - Trumbull, CT: “There was no discussion about the national debt and the long-term fiscal outlook for the United States from either party…As a CPA for 40+ years, I’ve tried to educate Americans on this issue, to no avail. As John Mauldin noted in his newsletter from November 2, 2024, ‘We are on a one-way road to crisis. There’s no turning back.’”

Through all the responses, one consistent message came through: “Bring the country together and tackle the problems no one else is addressing.”

We’d love to keep hearing from you! As we prepare for the critical work ahead, your thoughts and ideas continue to shape our movement and help us focus on the issues that matter most.
