Dear John,
It’s been a week since Election Day, and we know strong emotions are on all sides. Our good friend and former Republican campaign strategist Stuart Stevens reminded us today: “Go through this post-election process with open minds and hearts, but never doubt that the Democratic Party is the only (major) pro-democracy party left in America.”
We may not have won every race, but we saw democracy in action. American elections took place without election interference or cheating - as they have for centuries. We demonstrated our true dedication to the Constitution and the Rule of Law by supporting patriots of integrity to represent us. Together, we’re moving forward with strength and resilience, determined to keep the pro-democracy movement energized and relevant. |

In the Senate races, we aided Arizonian Ruben Gallego’s victory over the election denier Kari Lake. Elissa Slotkin showed that every vote counts in Michigan, securing a hard-earned victory and “promotion” to the Senate. In Nevada, Jacky Rosen won with a +1.5 margin, and in Wisconsin, Tammy Baldwin emerged with a +0.86 % margin. We won numerous state and local races across the country. Perhaps the most notable was in North Carolina, where Josh Stein defeated disgraced Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson by more than 14% in the governor's election.
We can’t help but think how different these close races might have been without our volunteers registering voters, staffing phone and text banks, writing postcards, and curing ballots. Or perhaps it was the emails and social media posts you shared with friends and family that made the difference. We’re deeply grateful for your contributions to our united efforts!
We see a bright future because we’re confident in our beliefs, and have the resolve to challenge anyone who defies our democracy. Over the next four years, we’ll hold elected leaders accountable and work to replace those who threaten our democratic values. We don’t spend extravagantly. But to face our formidable opposition, we do require a little cash. If you can spare some, please donate and stand by for the next steps in our historic pursuits! |
