Team, we know last week’s results are a lot to process, but the fight must continue.

Democratic governors are standing ready to be the last line of defense and protect your fundamental freedoms – take a look for yourself:

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said, “I will never back down from standing up for the freedoms I was elected to protect. I will continue to defend our democracy, defend our fundamental rights…”

Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey assured that, “In Massachusetts, we’ll continue to stand up to anyone who tries to rip away health care from women. We will keep protecting freedom.”

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker made clear, “To anyone who intends to come take away the freedom and opportunity and dignity of Illinoisans, I would remind you that a happy warrior is still a warrior. You come for my people, you come through me."

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz reminded us, “There are a million ways to make a difference –get back in the fight when you’re ready. And know that, whenever you are ready, I’ll be ready to get back in with you.”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom emphasized, “Whether it be our fundamental civil rights, reproductive freedom, or climate action – we refuse to turn back the clock and allow our values and laws to be attacked.”

But team, Democratic governors can’t take on this fight alone. They need to know that grassroots supporters like you have their back and will pledge to fight with them.
