Dear John,

The morning after the election, my son asked me a question that struck deep: "What will this mean for us?" Like so many of us, he was wondering how recent changes may impact our planet, the animals, and all the life we treasure.

As I reflected, I knew my answer was simple: We keep fighting.

No matter who leads the courts, cities, countries, or companies, Mercy For Animals is committed to a world where animals are respected and free from cruelty. With our reach in all 50 U.S. states, operations in six countries, powerful undercover investigations, and transformative work with corporations and governments to stop extreme animal suffering, we are determined to create real change for animals everywhere.

A Clear Mission, A Brighter Future

Each day, with the help of compassionate people like you, we fight for justice—for farmed animals, the planet, and future generations. Your advocacy has already fueled so much progress.

In 2024 alone, we've secured corporate commitments that will end some of the worst abuses affecting eight billion shrimp and millions of chickens. We're also following up on earlier promises, holding companies accountable to them and tracking their impact—on hundreds of millions of animals each year already!

Together we're getting closer to ending factory farming and moving toward a just plant-based food system.

Just last month, Mercy For Animals led a coalition of 50 stakeholders supporting the Pigs and Public Health Act, a bill introduced by Rep. Veronica Escobar that would impact the lives of 128 million pigs per year. It aims to stop some of the most severe cruelty suffered by pigs trapped in the meat industry. Will you help us ensure this bill passes?

So much work lies ahead, and we need your strength to continue. Will you stand with us?
