John, it's Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez.
Last Tuesday's results were not what we were hoping for. Wisconsin, like many swing states, voted for Donald Trump, and a national swing to the right has delivered him a trifecta in DC.
But in Wisconsin, it wasn't all bad news: Tammy Baldwin outran Vice President Harris and is going to hold on to her Senate seat for the next 6 years.
And at the state level, while we didn't flip either chamber, we had a historic night in the State Senate. We outperformed expectations and put the State Senate firmly into play for 2026.
Our success downballot in the face of a red shift across the country is a sign of our strength and is all thanks to the help of grassroots supporters like you.
Thank you for your continued support this cycle. We would never have been as successful as we were in this environment without your help. I'm ready for what comes next—and I hope you all are too.
