John, did you see my message?
SIGN NOW: STOP Trump’s anti-democracy Project 2025 agenda >>
John, there’s a lot of uncertainty ahead – for our country, our democracy, and our rights.
But here’s one thing I know for sure – we must immediately prepare to push back against Trump's anti-democracy Project 2025 agenda:
-
Stripping away our rights: Deploying the National Guard to crack down on protests, robbing us of fair representation by rigging the U.S. Census, and dramatically increasing the President’s power to act without Congressional oversight.
Sign the Petition: Congress, the Judiciary, and state leaders must pledge to REJECT Trump's dangerous Project 2025 agenda. We can’t stand by in silence if our democracy is dismantled.
Project 2025 is a 1,000-page agenda handcrafted by the Heritage Foundation for a Trump presidency – and we have every reason to believe Trump will try to follow through on it.
Just look at his first term as president – where he enacted nearly two-thirds of the extreme policies the Heritage Foundation laid out for him. [1]
And now in his second term, our system of checks and balances is going to be more important than ever – to limit Trump’s authoritarian ambitions and defend the bedrock values of our democracy: the rule of law, the right to vote, and the freedom to protest.
Join me in demanding that Congress, the Judiciary, and state officials across the country commit to rejecting Trump’s Project 2025 agenda and his efforts to consolidate power.
Thanks for all you do,
Aaron Scherb, Senior Director of Legislative Affairs
and the team at Common Cause
