WE ARE CALIFORNIA Community Gathering this Saturday, 10 AM

We invite you to come together this Saturday to be part of a movement for change. On November 6th, the day after the election, community organizations across the state launched WE ARE CALIFORNIA, a movement to counteract emboldened billionaires, bigots, and bullies, and advance a vision of California that works for all of us, where everyone can thrive, and no one is left out. This Saturday, Alliance San Diego and our partners will host a community gathering to make meaning of this moment, hear from one another, and make plans for the coming months. We will have Spanish interpretation, food, music, and the opportunity to share and create art. 

Movements are grown in crisis. It is in times like this when we learn, evolve, and innovate. When we make new connections and strengthen existing ones. For generations, we have risen from dark moments, to emerge anew. How we move in this moment matters, and who we move with determines how we build … with joy, art, and music to fuel a movement that brings transformational change. Reunión comunitaria de SOMOS CALIFORNIA este sábado a las 10 a.m.

Te invitamos a reunirte este sábado para ser parte de un movimiento por el cambio. El 6 de noviembre, el día después de las elecciones, las organizaciones comunitarias de todo el estado lanzaron SOMOS CALIFORNIA, un movimiento para contrarrestar a los multimillonarios agrandados, los intolerantes y los acosadores, y promover una visión de California que funcione para todos nosotros, donde todos puedan prosperar y nadie quede excluido. Este sábado, Alianza San Diego y nuestros compañeros organizarán una reunión comunitaria para darle sentido a este momento, escucharnos unos a otros y hacer planes para los próximos meses. Tendremos interpretación en español, comida, música y la oportunidad de compartir y crear arte.

Es en momentos como este cuando aprendemos, evolucionamos e innovamos. Cuando creamos nuevas conexiones y fortalecemos las existentes. Durante generaciones, hemos surgido de momentos oscuros para resurgir de nuevo. La forma en que nos movemos en este momento es importante, y con quién nos movemos determina cómo construimos... con alegría, arte y música para impulsar un movimiento que genere un cambio transformador.
