I know it has been an exceptionally difficult week. And the truth is, it’s going to be a difficult road ahead.

But there are some bright spots. As we have always known, abortion is extremely popular throughout the country. And last Tuesday proved that. Ballot initiatives to protect and/or expand abortion access passed in New York, Maryland, Colorado, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, and Missouri. And in Florida, 57% of voters supported an abortion access measure, only held back due to Florida’s 60 percent threshold. [1]

This is phenomenal. It is a hope that we carry deep in our chest and speaks to a fundamental truth about our work: that it is built for the long haul.
