Our of RVPAC's 11 endorsements, 9 were victorious! We gave support to all of them, and of course President Trump won- that's the BIG one!
A look at the NY Times map shows most of the country went to the right this election, and in fact every state did.
While we are disappointed that Joe Kent and Jerrod Sessler were not able to emerge victorious (look at the lack of red lines in Washington State), we are pleased we were able to help flip TWO seats from Blue to Red, as well as the Presidency.
Not a bad first go!
We struggled a bit here in North Carolina. While President Trump won the state, we lost several statewide candidates as the disaster in Western NC tamped down voting there.
We only found out later exactly why. It turns out that FEMA was only helping Biden supporters, with explicit orders to not help Trump supporters.
I hope President Trump investigates and imprisons any FEMA bureaucrat who participated in this. Their rank partisanship cost lives and communities.
Western NC is depending on Trump to clean up FEMA and get them back on their feet.
It wasn't just one person neither- it was systematic!
I'm proud of what we were able to accomplish in a short amount of time.
We helped keep the House for the Republicans and we helped Western NC to get on it's feet and VOTE, even in the face of obstinance and incompetence from FEMA.
That said, it is clear our work is not done.
Western NC is still a shambles. It will take years to recover.
The Republicans only hold the very slimmest of margins in the House. President Trump will not be able to enact his agenda if we cannot do better in the House.
