John,
I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support - and to give you a quick recap of Minnesota’s successful election. My two goals for Minnesota in the 2024 election were "high turnout and low drama.” I’m pleased to say that’s exactly what we achieved.
Once again, we saw a strong voter turnout across Minnesota (about 76%) – a testament to Minnesotans' dedication to making their voices heard. We are in the running to once again be #1 in America in voter turnout.
It’s clear that Minnesotans remain committed to the democratic process, and with your help, we worked hard to ensure that every eligible voter had the opportunity to participate in a fair, accurate, and secure election.
Thanks to the efforts of election workers, volunteers, and supporters like you, our election went smoothly with minimal disruptions. This “low drama” outcome is no accident. It’s the result of ongoing, tireless work to uphold election integrity, protect our voting systems, and counter disinformation at every turn.
But we couldn’t have done it without you. Whether you contributed financially, shared accurate election information, or encouraged friends and family to vote, your support was essential.
What’s Next?
This is only the beginning. As we look ahead to 2025, we know the work continues. The strength of our democracy depends on our vigilance, commitment to truth, and determination to protect the rights of every voter. And with more elections on the horizon, we’re prepared to keep pushing for “high turnout, low drama” every time.
As your Secretary of State, you have my word that I will continue to work hard for our democracy.
Thank you for being a part of this journey and for standing up for a fair and secure democracy in Minnesota. Together, we’ll keep defending the truth and ensuring that Minnesotans can always trust in the power of their vote.
With gratitude,
Steve
PS: The work doesn’t stop here! If you’re interested in supporting us further as we prepare for the next election cycle, please consider chipping in to help us continue promoting accurate information and secure voting.
