Dear friend,

It’s Tony, the President of Stand with Parkland. I know how busy life can be, especially as we head into the holiday season, but I wanted to reach out as we approach Giving Tuesday with a request that’s close to my heart.

Since that tragic day in February 2018, my family and the families of Stand with Parkland have felt a profound and lasting loss. It’s hard to capture what it’s like to live with such a heavy absence following the murders of our sons, daughters, and spouses, but we’ve done our best to turn that pain into action. Our mission is clear: to make our nation’s schools safe so that no other family has to experience this kind of heartbreak.

Every day, our team at Stand with Parkland is working – often behind the scenes – with leaders from both parties, pushing forward policies that protect students and teachers. We don’t aim for the spotlight; instead, we focus on tangible, lasting changes. And while this approach may not make headlines, it’s what brings real change to our schools and communities.

For us, this work is a tribute to our loved ones. But to keep it going, we rely on people like you.

As a coalition of parents, spouses, and family members who are dedicated to ensuring that no other family has to endure the same pain we've endured, every single contribution – $50, $25, or even $5 – allows us to continue the often-unseen, but deeply necessary , work of reaching across divides to make school safety a priority for all.

What we bring in on Giving Tuesday helps fund and power our day-in, day-out efforts throughout the year. Efforts like taking our heartfelt message to Congress in the fight for safer schools.

Together, we’ve achieved so much:

*
We
helped
pass
the
Bipartisan
Safer
Communities
Act
,
one
of
the
most
meaningful
pieces
of
school
safety
legislation
our
country
has
ever
seen.
*
We
worked
with
federal
agencies
to
create
SchoolSafety.gov
,
the
first
centralized
school
safety
resource
hub
for
our
nation.
*
We
helped
establish
the
988
Suicide
Prevention
Lifeline
[[link removed]]
,
providing
24/7
lifesaving
mental
health
support
fo
Americans.
*
And
we’ve
met
with
countless
policymakers
at
all
levels

even
Presidents
Biden
and
Trump

to
ensure
that
school
safety
remains
at
the
forefront
of
our
nation’s
bipartisan
agenda.
*
And
so
much
more…
