Applications for three of Poynter's most sought-after trainings are due in a little less than a month.
The Executive Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative is designed to teach general managers of U.S.-based public media stations strategies to strengthen editorial leadership and build capacity within public media.
The Leadership Academy for Women in Media is designed to help women and nonbinary journalists strengthen managerial strengths; navigate ethical decision-making; strategize ahead of difficult conversations and negotiations; manage up, down and across generations; delegate with purpose; and create a unique formula for work-life chemistry.
And finally, Transforming Local Crime Reporting Into Public Safety Journalism teaches newsroom teams to transform their impact on the community by reimagining reporting on criminal justice and crime.
