XR is part of the Climate Justice Coalition which is planning a global day of action - this Saturday - to demand action at COP29 for a rapid, just, equitable and ecological transition – and demand human rights for all.

Join us to call out the UK government’s hypocrisy. They are complicit in the COP process that is more about shady deals with oil and gas companies than it is about taking meaningful and urgent action.
The BBC have recently revealed footage of a senior official at COP29 appearing to use his role to arrange a meeting to discuss potential fossil fuel deals.
This clearly goes against the agreement the world made at the last global climate summit to transition away from fossil fuels. Failing to protect those, who have done the least to contribute to this crisis, from suffering the most.
