Happy Veterans Day! Here’s an update from our campaign:

Thank You

I’m grateful to the voters of the First Congressional District for their continued support and trust in me.

Together, we can strengthen our country, lower costs and have a nation that works for everyone. I’ll continue working for you.

Winning Contested Races

The First Congressional District saw Republicans win crucial, contested elections last Tuesday night. Politics is a team sport and I was thrilled to see some of our incredible local candidates make it across the finish line.

  1. Kenosha County District Attorney

Xavier Solis was elected as the first Republican District Attorney in the history of Kenosha County. We deployed our team into Kenosha County during the final weeks of the campaign to make sure Xavier was successful.

Congratulations, Xavier!

  1. Wisconsin’s 61st Assembly District

Bob Donovan was redrawn into a very competitive race in the Wisconsin’s 61st Assembly District. Bob and his team worked hard, knocked on thousands of doors in Hales Corners and Greendale, and came up successful.

Congratulations, Bob!

  1. Wisconsin’s 21st Assembly District

Jessie Rodriguez was also drawn into a new district that leans about 4% Democrat. Jessie and her team knocked every door in their new district at least three times and came up successful.

Congratulations, Jessie!

Team Steil Moving 1st Congressional District Right

The movement we’re seeing towards Republicans in Kenosha and Rock County is encouraging and helps create more pathways for Republicans to win statewide in Wisconsin.

The data we’re seeing in Rock and Kenosha County illustrates this movement.

Kenosha County

  • In 2018, we received 47.2% of the vote in Kenosha County and LOST the County by 2%.

  • In 2024, we received 53.3% of the vote in Kenosha County and WON the County by 8.7%.

We’ve seen a 10.7% swing in our direction in the last 6 years.

  • In 2020, President Trump received 50.7% of the vote in Kenosha County and WON the county by 3.1%.

  • In 2024, President Trump received 52.3% of the vote in Kenosha County and WON the county by 6.2%.

President Trump saw a 3.09% swing in his direction over the last 4 years.

Rock County

  • In 2018, we received 41.7% of the vote in Rock County and LOST the County by 13.6%.

  • In 2024, we received 47.5% of the vote in Rock County and LOST the County by 2.7%.

    • This gain is despite the new district now including the historically Democrat City of Beloit.

We’ve seen a 10.9% swing in our direction in the last 6 years.

  • In 2008, John McCain received 34.5% of the vote in Rock County, and LOST the county by 29.2%.

  • In 2020, President Trump received 43.5% of the vote in Rock County and LOST the county by 11.1%.

  • In 2024, President Trump received 45.5% of the vote in Rock County and LOST the county by 7.2%.

Since 2008, Rock County has swung 21.9% towards the Republican ticket in Presidential Elections.

We believe we have an opportunity to win Rock County next cycle.

None of this movement would’ve been possible without our supporters and grassroots volunteers.

On Wisconsin,

Bryan Steil
