Trump is the President-Elect and we have brighter days ahead. Electing Trump was no small feat, but Mississippians turned out in record numbers to help elect Donald J. Trump to his second term, in a time of our country that desperately needs his leadership at the helm.
But the Fight is not OVER! With the Republicans taking over the Senate, Mitch McConnell and his spineless Republicans are currently maneuvering behind closed doors to install a new Majority Party leader that will be a roadblock to Trump. There are currently three Senators in the running to lead the Republican Party in the Senate: Senators John Thune (S.D.), John Cornyn (Texas) and Rick Scott (Fla.).
Florida’s Senator Rick Scott is the only Senator that has consistently supported Trump and has a proven conservative record to lead the Senate. It has been reported that our MS Senators are supporting Senators Thune and Cornyn. We cannot allow the Swamp to derail the Trump Train!
Don’t sit out of the fight now, contact our Mississippi Senators to tell them to vote Senator Rick Scott for Senate Majority Leader!
