John,
The Trump tax scam from 2017 showered billionaires and corporations with enormous giveaways, cutting the corporate tax rate by two-fifths, from 35% to 21% while communities nationwide were left behind.[1]
Now, with key provisions of the Trump tax law set to expire, Republicans want to renew it or make it permanent by codifying these giveaways to corporations and billionaires indefinitely.
These tax cuts were sold as "relief for middle-class families," but here’s the truth: extending this Trump-era tax code would increase the federal debt by nearly $5 trillion.[2]
We can’t afford another decade of tax injustice, because history tells us what happens if they succeed: they’ll use these cuts as an excuse to slash the programs millions of Americans rely on for survival, including programs like Social Security and Medicare.
It's time to take bold action against this corporate and billionaire greed and put an end to tax cuts for the rich. Demand Congress reject a renewal of the Trump tax scam for the rich and corporations.
Multiple corporate giants—like Amazon, Netflix, and Tesla—paid zero federal income taxes in recent years. Instead of investing those billions into jobs or wage increases, they’ve funneled their savings into stock buybacks and executive bonuses.
This unchecked corporate greed has consequences: it drives massive wealth inequality, destabilizes our economy, and undermines the public good. From 2018 to 2022, major corporations poured $4.4 trillion into stock buybacks and dividend payments—seven times what they paid in federal income taxes.
From pushing interest rates higher to making it harder for families to buy homes, small businesses to secure loans, and communities to fund essential services like education, healthcare, and infrastructure, the massive increase in debt from Trump’s plan creates a fiscal time bomb that puts our entire economy at risk.
The bottom line is this: Republicans are determined to rig the system to benefit the ultra-wealthy, leaving working Americans to pay the price.
We’re at a tipping point. Let’s build a fair tax code that benefits all Americans, not just the richest few. Send a message to Congress now and let them know we’re done with tax cuts for the wealthy.
Thank you for standing with us in the fight for tax fairness,

John,
Most of the Trump tax scam is set to expire next year and congressional Republicans are already plotting to renew it or possibly make these devastating handouts permanent.
Trump’s tax plan is a deliberate mechanism to redistribute wealth from working families directly into the pockets of the ultra-wealthy. In fact, when Trump rammed through his tax legislation in 2017, he created a system where corporations and billionaires pay less in taxes than teachers, nurses, and small business owners.
Now, congressional Republicans are considering enacting tariffs on imports to pay for their tax cuts for the rich―meaning that costs will skyrocket for working people just to continue handing obscene tax breaks to the rich and corporations.[1]
We must stop them from fundamentally restructuring our economic system. Tell Congress to reject a renewal of the Trump tax scam for the rich and corporations.
The numbers from Trump’s first tax scam are staggering: while working families struggle, corporations saw their effective tax rates plummet from 35% to just 21%.[2] This is economic warfare against the middle class and the consequences have been catastrophic. These tax cuts added over $1.9 trillion to the federal deficit creating a fiscal time bomb that threatens critical public services like Social Security, Medicare, and infrastructure investments.[3]
Now, with key provisions set to expire next year, Republicans are preparing a full-scale assault to renew this skewed tax code and maybe even make these tax cuts for the wealthy permanent. Their strategy is clear: lock in massive tax breaks for their millionaire and billionaire donors while potentially forcing devastating cuts to programs that are relied upon by working Americans.
Take action today to demand Congress reject a renewal of the Trump tax scam for the rich and corporations.
Since 2017, Trump’s tax code further concentrated wealth in the hands of a tiny elite who are already hoarding unprecedented levels of economic and political power.
Analysis from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP) shows that 15 corporations have separately reported more than $1 billion in tax benefits from a single provision in the Trump tax scam.[4] This is a systemic betrayal of everything the American tax system is supposed to represent.
If extended, these tax cuts for the rich will create massive deficits, reduce investments in critical infrastructure, and undermine economic mobility. Every dollar given away to billionaires is a dollar stolen from public schools, healthcare, and community development.
The upcoming congressional battle is about the soul of our economic system. We cannot continue to allow a rigged system where the wealthy pay less. We must demand a tax code that reflects genuine fairness and shared responsibility.
We still have time to stop this assault, expose their corrupt agenda, and demand genuine tax justice. Tell Congress to reject a renewal of the Trump tax scam for the rich and corporations.
Thank you for your commitment to building a fairer economy for all,
