Team –
It's the honor of a lifetime to represent Granite Staters including the over 88,000 veterans living in our district. I am the proud grandson of three World War II veterans — my grandfathers were pilots, and my grandmother served in the Coast Guard. And I grew up hearing stories of their service.
While we can never fully repay our veterans for the sacrifices they made for our country, we can fight to live up to the promises we've made to them this Veterans Day and every day.
We have a duty to ensure we treat the people who have served our country with dignity and respect. That means providing our veterans and their families with quality health care, mental health services, affordable housing, and education opportunities.
No veteran should have to fight another battle when they return home to get the help they have earned.
To all our veterans, thank you for serving our country and the sacrifices you've made to keep our country and democracy safe. Serving you in Congress is an honor, and I will always fight to make sure you have the support you deserve.
With gratitude,
Chris Pappas
