On the heels of a massive, historic red-wave election, the Senate GOP is about to elect the new Senate Majority Leader, as Mitch McConnell is stepping down… and right now, the two GOP senators “next in line” for this position are Sen. Thune (SD) and Sen. Cornyn (TX). Both of these men have spent years demonizing and opposing Donald Trump, and are not close friends of the conservative movement.
Sen. Cornyn worked with Democrats, if you’ll remember, to pass gun control legislation in 2022, that Joe Biden signed into law.
It’s time for “seniority” and “next in line” to stop being how leaders in Congress are chosen. The person who is best for the country is the person who should be elected.
That means that Sen. Rick Scott (FL), the only conservative running, must be elected Senate Majority Leader. Of course, the swamp DOES NOT want Sen. Scott to elected. That’s where you come in.
ACTION: Use our action page to automatically send an email to your Republican senators and be connected by phone. We need to urge them to announce who they are voting for ahead of time, to vote for Sen. Rick Scott, and afterward, to tell us how they actually voted.
