Today, we pause to remember the Americans who put the needs of their country above their own.
Few titles are more noble than that of veteran of the United States. At home and abroad, veterans, their families, and their sacrifices have made America safer and stronger.
They deserve our lasting gratitude and reverence, and I hope you’ll join me in paying tribute for their remarkable service today.
