John,

Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans who have served in Maryland and across the country.

As a former service member, I am proud to support our veterans. So far, we’ve worked to pass over $200 million worth of tax relief for veterans. I am working to pass free health care and dental care to our members of the Maryland National Guard.

Maryland has a long and proud military tradition, unmatched by any other state. Today, more than 375,000 Veterans call Maryland home, and they play a critical role in our state and economy.

But there is so much more we need to do to support our military community. We need to make sure that 'thank you for your service' is more than just a quote, or something that we always put at the end of a sentence.
We can and must do more as a state for the men and women who have worn the cloth of our country and sacrificed so much to keep us safe and protect our freedoms.

Just like they have fought for us on the frontlines, I will continue to fight for them.

Elevate,
Wes
