WHO: First Lady Cathy Justice, Cabinet Secretary Randall Reid-Smith, Greenbrier County Schools Superintendent Jeff Bryant, Greenbrier County Public Library Head Librarian Ann Farr, Lewisburg Elementary School Principal Sara Bennett, Lewisburg Elementary School Librarian Emily Shirey.
WHAT: First Lady Cathy Justice will read aloud to Lewisburg Elementary students in honor of National Young Readers Week.
National Young Readers Week is an annual event that takes place during the second week of November. Since its inception, the goal has been to encourage a love of reading among the nation’s youth, raise awareness about the importance of literacy, and highlight the power of books.
