This Veterans Day, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every veteran who has served our nation with unparalleled courage, dedication, and a willingness to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
Today, as we honor the sacrifices you have made, we also celebrate the selflessness and strength you’ve shown throughout your service. You have given so much to defend our country, and your bravery continues to inspire us all. From deploying overseas to supporting our communities in countless ways after returning home, your contributions have made an indelible mark on our nation.
We recognize that our commitment to supporting veterans does not end with a single day of remembrance. In the legislature, I am committed to advancing meaningful policies that honor your service and address the unique challenges veterans and their families face. Whether it’s expanding mental health resources, providing job training, supporting educational opportunities, or working on the property tax exemption, we will continue to work tirelessly on your behalf. This is even more important this year in a tied House where we will have to work with the other side to pass legislation.
I pledge to stand alongside my colleagues on both sides in the House to pursue legislation that not only supports veterans but also strengthens the programs and services you depend on. Your dedication and sacrifices will not be forgotten, and we are devoted to creating lasting, positive change for you and all who have served.
Thank you for your service, your resilience, and your contributions to our communities and our country. May you feel honored, valued, and appreciated today and every day.
Sincerely, Rep. Mary Franson
