Today, let’s take a moment to recognize and thank the veterans who’ve stood up for our nation. Their honorable sacrifice represents America’s best values — a commitment to a greater cause and a belief in democracy.

One day is simply not enough to thank our men and women for stepping up in times of need and putting our country over themselves. Each Veterans Day reminds us of the great strength, courage, and commitment our service members display — both overseas and at home.

They’ve done their part, and now it’s on us to give them the dignity and respect they deserve.

I am forever grateful for the sacrifices our veterans have made for our country. To those who’ve served and their families, thank you.
