Veteran's Day

To all who served—including LGBTQ+ veterans, who may not have been able to serve openly—we thank you!

We're proud to support the Military community in partnership with Modern Military Association of America year-round with our PFLAG Connects: Military Community. These monthly, virtual meetings are open to parents, family members, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are also part of the military community. Each meeting is led by current/former service members or military spouses who will guide you in receiving support, giving support, and finding resources to help you, your family, and your community.

Learn more and sign up to attend on our website. The next meeting for our PFLAG Connects: Military Community is tonight, November 11th at 9pm ET / 6pm PT

November is Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month and a time to celebrate the traditions, stories, and languages of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities.

We are proud to support this rich and diverse community, including by investing in minority-owned depository institutions such as Bay Bank, founded in 1995 by the Oneida Nation and a group of five local businessmen, and since 2000, solely owned by the Oneida Nation.

We've Got This. We've Got Us.

Just as the LGBTQ+ people, families, and allies that make up our PFLAG family have always joined the march for freedom, we are united in this fight to protect and respect every member of our community.

Many of us are scared right now, including our LGBTQ+ loved ones and families. But make no mistake, PFLAG is not backing down from this fight. For over five decades, PFLAG has been leading with love to overcome dark efforts. We are uniquely able to meet this moment, to soften hearts, to change minds, and to support our LGBTQ+ community.

PFLAG will continue to show up from the state house to the courthouse, the schoolhouse steps to the steps of the U.S. Capitol and Supreme Court.

We’ve got this. We’ve got us.

American Teenager by Nico Lang

Wednesday, November 13th is the start of Trans Awareness Week and we're uplifting Nico Lang's incredible new book, American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era

This book is especially relevant after last week's election results. Remember: PFLAG has you covered whether it's for resources, support, or showing up and fighting for our trans loved ones.
