| John, On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor and express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our nation in uniform. Whether in times of peace or conflict, our veterans have shown extraordinary courage, commitment, and sacrifice. Their dedication to defending our freedoms is the bedrock upon which our country stands. As your Lieutenant Governor, I am proud to have worked alongside our Veteran community, crafting and passing the Veterans Priority Legislative Package that will address the mental health, workforce, and housing needs of our Veterans. Every day, our Veterans and their families continue to make significant contributions to our nation. From serving in the military to leading in our communities, Veterans embody the values of service, leadership, and resilience that we hold dear. Today, we salute all those who have worn the uniform, and we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that Veterans and their families receive the support and care they deserve.
