The people of Connecticut have served in uniform from the founding of the United States through the present day. We're extremely proud of Connecticut’s essential role supporting the Navy, Coast Guard, and every other branch of service. Today, and every day, we stand proudly with our military and the American values our veterans exemplify.
Our veterans swore an oath to the democratic principles that have long made the United States a beacon of hope around the world, not to an individual or a political party. While uncertain times lie ahead, your CT Democrats continue to stand with our more than 180,000 veterans statewide, and the values they fought for.
We are proud to honor all of those who have served our country. They're not just our veterans - they're our family, our neighbors, our friends, and our heroes.
