The climate and nature crises are inextricably linked. But as the Prime Minister arrives at Cop29, the UK is way off track meeting its’ own targets to protect 30 per cent of land and sea by 2030.

In fact at the current rate of progress, we will not reach these targets until the next century. Is it all over for 30x30 or can we still get nature restoration back on track?
