Fame Fatale: How the Elite Celeb Culture Doomed Dems |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
If there's anything more gratifying than watching conservatives win, it's watching celebrities lose. The pampered, out-of-touch A-listers who shilled for Kamala Harris have not coped well since Tuesday's results (if threats of death-by-Drano are any indication). But in every meltdown, one thing is clear: their despair isn't just that the vice president failed, but that the country is too stupid to understand that famous people know better. It's the same campaign of condescension that led to the demise of woke corporations. And with a little luck, celebrity endorsements will meet the same fate. |

Ballot Questions: A Bounce Back to Sanity? |
by Chuck Donovan |
America and the world are still reeling a bit from Election Night 2024, and the regrets and recriminations are flowing in with the usual profusion. As always, figuring out the impact of the governorships, state legislatures, and national leadership races decided (or still pending) on Tuesday will take a while. In the meantime, there is much to be learned from the outcome of the direct policy votes taken this year on questions from the redefinition of marriage and legalization of assisted suicide to school choice and drug use. All told, 41 states voted on 146 state constitutional amendments this year, with four more to come on December 7 in Louisiana. |

Joy Came in the Morning after the Election |
by Ben Johnson |
If Kamala Harris ever lived up to her self-description that she is "not aspiring to be humble," it came when her campaign treated the Bible verse "joy cometh in the morning" as though it foretold her election as president. Yet on the morning that false prophecy came to nought, God seemed to reassert His sovereignty, deliverance, and vindication through His word and an ancient hymn recorded in a prayer book used by 85 million Christians worldwide - including many of her supporters. |

DOJ to Drop Trump Prosecution, Oust Top Prosecutor |
by S.A. McCarthy |
Following President-elect Donald Trump's landslide victory on Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is dropping the cases it has leveled against Trump over the past four years, and a top Trump prosecutor is looking for a way out. According to a Fox News report, "special counsel" Jack Smith will leave the DOJ prior to Trump's inauguration on January 20 and the cases he has been unsuccessfully prosecuting against Trump will be dropped. The DOJ has reportedly explained Smith's departure and the shelving of the cases by saying that a sitting U.S. president cannot be prosecuted. |

The Call for Boldness Just Got a Lot Louder. It's Time to Seize the Moment. |
by Sarah Holliday |
Do you remember the first time you decided to be vocal about your political or biblical beliefs? I can't help but wonder how it went. For me, speaking my mind on something important, but having a different opinion than the majority of those around me, resulted in a mixed bag of anger, frustration, hostility, and many people who decided they can "no longer associate" with someone like me. |

by David Closson |
On November 5, 2024, Donald J. Trump completed the greatest comeback in American political history by winning the 2024 presidential election and defeating Kamala Harris. Trump becomes only the second president to be elected for non-consecutive terms, the first being Grover Cleveland in 1892. For beleaguered pro-lifers, Trump's victory offers hope and opportunity. |

Jilted Boosters: Where to for Social Conservatives? |
by Quinn Skinner |
Biblical Christians can offer thanks to God and breathe a sigh of relief at the election outcome; we have been granted a reprieve in the spheres of free speech and government targeting of conservatives and religious adherents. We should gain traction on reducing sex trafficking and fentanyl influx at the border. However, Donald Trump's re-election was a stopgap measure, and no cause for gloating. Electing pro-choice politicians who prioritize personal loyalty from their subordinates, undisciplined in their management style and speech, is not a pattern for building a virtuous society. "Better than the opponent" will always suffice as the minimal threshold but fails to inspire improvement. |
