Dear John,

Veterans Day is an important opportunity for us to express gratitude for our fellow AFGE members who are Veterans. Today, and everyday, we are honored to recognize the incredible service and sacrifice Veterans have made for our nation.

Many of our Veterans choose to continue their service by joining the federal government because they understand our country still needs their skills and passion.

To our Veterans, thank you for your continued service to the country. It is an honor to represent you. To our government workers — especially those who care for our nation's veterans, thank you for all you do.
