BOB LINN WORLDS IN COLLISION In 1950, academic Immanuel Velikovsky published Worlds in Collision, an extraordinarily well-reasoned and controversial text challenging reigning theories of cosmic uniformity. The book was read by Einstein and the two men were in conversation about many issues the realm of science. I thought of Velikovsky's book title in view of both the Trump victory and today’s honoring of America’s Veterans. It is said that: All gave some and some gave all in wars the world over. Both President-elect Donald Trump, as well as our nearly 18 million veterans, have risked all and fought to defend America’s interest in a free world. The battle for the White House has been the story of ideological worlds in collision. The idea of freedom and devotion to the Christianity from which freedom comes versus the tyranny of government speech codes and government approved secular ideas which sprout from leftism and secular modernity. The road to November 5th this year was a contest of light verses darkness. The state versus family. The state versus God. The evisceration of God from the Democrat (DNC) platform is not what our founders would have hoped for from a major political party. The Vice President’s admonition you are at the wrong rally comment to some college students who shouted Jesus is Lord affirms the secular nature of this major political party seeking to retain the White House. Worlds are in collision in American politics and America’s educational institutions. Because of Trump’s victory, education in America will trend to educational choice. It will seek to honor parental authority and eviscerate the authority of the state over children’s minds and bodies. Because of the Trump victory, educational choice has before it a wider pathway and more influence. OKLAHOMA WILL PLAY A ROLE The OCPAC Foundation is grateful that two of our board members played such prominent roles in the first Trump White house and are now in meetings regarding Trump White House version 2.0. One of those board members who served in the Trump administration is Rodney Scott. He will be our speaker this Wednesday. Oklahoma has one more key connection to the Trump White House: Ryan Walters. It was last month, that Michael Reagan targeted Ryan Walters as the only man currently serving in American politics with a backbone. And, in Walters fashion, Oklahoma schools were informed last week that Walters would be working to help the Trump administration untie the hands of local school district from the current heavy handed Marxist ideologies. Walters’ note to the parents of Oklahoma: Enclosed is a memo that outlines areas where the Oklahoma Department of Education is preparing to work hand in hand with an incoming Trump Administration to continue the work of dismantling the federal government's decades of undue influence over public education. As President Trump ran on a platform of eliminating the U.S. Department of Education, states can and should be taking note of how a transition toward federal block grants of education funds will open the doors to championing parents’ rights, putting an end to radical social agendas in schools, and focusing much-needed resources on core education subjects that will empower and equip educators to improve student success outcomes across the board. In the memorandum to the Parents of Oklahoma, Walters spoke of working with the Trump White House to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education as a move to champion parental rights, ending Marxist indoctrination, restoring actual history in the curriculum, and blocking Chinese influence in curriculum. The ideological worlds in collision represent a battle which will continue for many years to come. The supernatural flavor of Washington’s 1776 Christmas day crossing of the Delaware was at play on July 13, 2024 when the miracle in Butler, Pennsylvania captivated a nation. A split-second tilting of the head spared Trump from an assassin’s bullet. It was a moment when many Americans asked themselves the obvious question: Did God just endorse a President? Conservative commentator Liz Wheeler noted: I think for the first time in my lifetime, the majority of people who voted for Trump understood that this is a spiritual battle we are engaging in. After all, even the Amish in Pennsylvania came off their farms to take part in what they saw as a serious ideological conflict. Dr. Everett Piper this weekend made a list of the war of the left against Donald Trump as background for why both Democrats and the GOP are calling this the greatest political comeback in the history of mankind: From Everett Piper: After having the Department of Justice turned against him, after having the FBI criminally lie about him, after being falsely accused of everything from Russian collusion to fomenting an insurrection, after having to spend untold time and money in a kangaroo court defending himself against hatchet men funded by liberal megadonor George Soros, after two partisan impeachments, after one witch hunt after another, after being subjected to bogus charge on top of bogus charge, after suffering politically motivated attempts to destroy his businesses, wealth, family and legacy, after not one assassination attempt but two, after literally being shot in the ear and rushed off the stage with blood streaming down his face, he did it. See his full article in The Washington Times here. Trump, like our nearly 18 million veterans, fought bravely and overcame unheard of odds in order to ensure an alternate pathway than is offered by the secularists. The battle being waged is one to secure a future other than the darkness of 20th century’s Russia, China, Korea, Cuba, and so many areas of the world where more than 100 million human beings were tortured, starved, and murdered for their political sentiments, their transcendent ideals, their words, and their thoughts. Now, in the 21st century, these two worlds remain in conflict. One world, the world of the West and Christendom, is a world of freedom and prosperity. The other world, the world of statism, is a world of darkness, poverty, and of man's inhumanity to man. In Charlotte last month, Dr. Ben Carson said: God is not done with our country. Let’s get to work. POST ELECTION TRIVIA: The only states won by the Democrat candidate for the White House were states which require no voter identification to vote. We must restore election integrity in every state. COME THIS WEDNESDAY RODNEY SCOTT SEND THIS NEWSLETTER TO A FRIEND HERE. The nation is in peril and is calling to each of you for help!
