Dear Friend,
I’m reaching out today to ask for your support in helping paralyzed soldiers walk again.
Soldiers like Army Reserve Sergeant Dan Rose:
Dan was serving our country in Afghanistan when his vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb. The blast tore his vehicle in half.
And right away, Dan realized he couldn’t feel his legs.
Doctors saved his life, but told him he was paralyzed from the waist down. He would never walk again, they said.
The news left Dan in a deep depression. Life seemed hopeless.
But then someone helped connect Dan with SoldierStrong, and we provided him with his very own “SoldierSuit,” using leading medical technology to help him walk again.
Here’s what Dan says it was like to test his SoldierSuit out for the first time:
“It was like standing on top of a mountain just looking down across the world. It was
amazing. I felt like a giant.
There’s no other way to put this, SoldierStrong and their SoldierSuit changed my life forever.”
Friend, can I count on your gift of $35, $50, or even $100 or more to help change another paralyzed soldier’s life?
Because the sad truth is, more than 100,000 wounded warriors have returned home from war paralyzed, having lost their ability to use their legs.
And every year, tens of thousands of veterans are seeing their old spine and leg injuries from their time in the service get worse and worse.
With your gift of $35, $50, or $100 or more, you can help give them access to a SoldierSuit so they can rebuild their strength and avoid becoming wheelchair-bound.
Learning to use his suit gave Dan a totally new outlook on life. Today, he’s on a mission to live life to the fullest, from traveling to participating in adaptive sports to tutoring elementary students at a local school near his home.
Getting to know American patriots like Sgt. Rose has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, Friend.
Because of the generous support of caring friends like you, we’ve raised more than $5.5 million to deploy medical devices (like the SoldierSuit) that have helped more than 35,000 veterans overcome injuries and learn to walk again.
Your donation buys these wounded warriors more than a “tool” to be used for physical therapy.
You’re giving them dignity.
You’re giving them self-respect.
And most importantly, you’re giving them hope.
That’s why if you find it in your heart to donate today and help a paralyzed soldier walk again, I pray that you will!
Thank you in advance for being an American patriot who wants to make a difference in the lives of our wheelchair warriors -- and wants to make sure they know they’re not forgotten.
God Bless,
Chris Meek
