Dear Georgian,

Our nation is indebted to our veterans, who put their lives on the line to protect our freedom. Tomorrow, we will recognize and celebrate them on Veterans Day. Make sure to thank our veterans every day for all they have done for our country!

It is an honor to serve you, and I'm looking forward to serving another term in Congress and working with President Trump to fix our border, economy, and national security.

Many of you have contacted my office regarding President Trump's upcoming inauguration. Our office will get tickets, but we are unsure how many tickets will be allocated to each office yet. Our office will share more information as it becomes available.

Tickets to the inauguration are not guaranteed, so please keep this in mind and fill out the form below if you are interested.

You can find the Ticket Request Form and more information here.

As always, my staff and I are here to help. If you need assistance with a federal agency or have comments or concerns to share with me, please do not hesitate to call my Warner Robins, Tifton, or Washington, D.C. offices. Speaking at Macon & Eggs

It was great to join the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, the President of Wesleyan College, students from Wesleyan, Rep. Sanford Bishop and many other Georgians at Macon & Eggs last week to provide a legislative update after the recent elections.

Rep. Bishop and I continue to work closely on our bipartisan initiative to establish the Ocmulgee Mounds as the first national park and preserve in Georgia, and we hope to have more movement from Congress when we return back to session.

Visiting Fouts Brothers

I joined Fouts Brothers for their “Home Day” celebration at their headquarters in Milledgeville.

The good people at Fouts Brothers are responsible for producing lifesaving equipment for the fire service industry across North America!

I appreciate their work to support fire, fleet, service, and military personnel nationwide with their equipment.

WMAZ | Back to business, Central Georgia congressmen discuss future plans after 2024 re-election

"Thursday, the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce held its Macon and Eggs breakfast program at Wesleyan College.

Sanford Bishop, 2nd district congressman, and Austin Scott of the 8th congressional district sat down together as co-panelist to discuss rounds of topics including federal policy, economic growth, national defense and agriculture.

Scott and Bishop said while ending their current terms, they're focused on laying the ground work for 2025.

'I appreciate the opportunity to go back and serve,' Scott said. 'We've obviously got a lot of work to do, we've got to get the border secure. We got to get the cost of energy down. We're very concerned about inflation.'"
