The election is over. A new leader has been selected. We must now pray for God's blessings on our nation and get to work.
Upon their return from exile, the Israelites got to work rebuilding the temple (which symbolized God's presence among His people). Unfortunately, they got sidetracked, and the prophet Haggai urged the people to rebuild the temple if they wanted God's blessings.
