Good afternoon, and welcome to our Weekend Update… an amazing update to share!

Before I recap the great election results, I wish our brave veterans a Happy Veterans Day. As former President/President-elect Trump said, “There is no greater act of selfless service than defending America’s God-given freedoms and liberty. The traditions of excellence and integrity demonstrated by our men and women in uniform never fade after leaving the Military—once a Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine, Coast Guardsman, or Guardian—always.” 

ELECTION VICTORY UPDATE:

We had a great night up and down the ballot, and our success would not have been possible without each of you. The election of President Donald J. Trump will go down as one of the most consequential elections in U.S. history. As we celebrate this victory, we thank all volunteers and campaign staff who worked around the clock leading up to Election Day. I also want to acknowledge the tireless efforts of PA GOP Chairman Lawrence Tabas, his team, the RNC, Trump Regional Director Ashley Walukevich, her team, and Trump Force 47, without whom this win for the American people would not have been possible. Our movement is just beginning, and President Trump and our team are committed to moving quickly to deliver for America. That means reducing inflation, securing our border, cutting taxes, ending the world conflicts that began and festered under the current administration, and bringing family-sustaining jobs back to the United States.

Since his historic election, President Trump has already:

• Hired the first female Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles
• Hamas called for an end to the war
• Working to end the migrant voucher program
• The European Union said it will buy United States natural gas instead of Russian natural gas
• A migrant caravan in Mexico heading to the United States border is breaking up
• China would like to have a new relationship with the United States
• Qatar kicked out Hamas leaders that they had been harboring
• Major corporations are already talking about reshoring their manufacturing from China

It's only been days, and President Trump is already delivering big wins for the American people.

In particular, I want to thank the people of the 9^th Congressional District for entrusting me to represent our community in Washington. To every volunteer, supporter, and member of our campaign team for your dedication and hard work. I want to congratulate President Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States. He swept the swing states and won the popular vote. I look forward to working with Him, and together, we will Make America Great Again!

The U.S. Senate race was one of the great victories of the night. I want to congratulate Senator-elect Dave McCormick on his amazing victory. Dave is a fighter who will represent all Pennsylvanians in Washington. He has what it takes to create meaningful change and do the hard work. Together, under the leadership of President-Elect Donald J Trump, a Republican U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, we will all make America prosperous, strong, safe, and great again. We have a great team!

It was a historic election night in Pennsylvania! In addition to President Trump and Senator-elect McCormick's victories, the GOP swept the statewide row offices. I want to congratulate Attorney General-elect Dave Sunday on his election and Auditor General Tim DeFoor and State Treasurer Stacy Garrity on their victories.

On Election Night, I was in Bucks County with my good friend Jim Worthington at his Newtown Athletic Club. Hundreds of patriots came together to watch the results, and the energy was through the roof as state after state was called for President Donald J. Trump. 

Leading up to Election Day, I was on the campaign trail with President Trump, Vice President-elect JD Vance, U.S. Senator-elect Dave McCormick and our entire ticket. 

Shelley and I joined Dave McCormick at his Hometown Hero rally in Bloomsburg a week ago. Dave brought it back to his roots, holding the event in the gym he wrestled in as a student at Bloomsburg High School. It was great to hear from South Dakota Senator John Thune as he spoke in support of Dave. If there’s anyone we want fighting for us in the third period of a close match, it’s Dave McCormick. Dave is one of us, and he is running to fight for our Commonwealth and our country, as he has done his whole life. I am so proud of Dave and the campaign he ran.

On Monday, I was in Reading for a Trump rally. I was joined by a great team of patriots who worked so hard to help elect President Trump, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senator Tom Cotton, Congressman Glenn Thompson, Congressman John Joyce, Congressman Lloyd Smucker, and Senator-elect Dave McCormick.
