The top cybersecurity official at the Dept. of Homeland Security says it’s time to act on election security.

Tell Congress:

The threats are clear. Our nation is under attack by foreign powers and we need Congress to act now to prevent future attacks. As the 2020 elections quickly approach, we must ensure that Americans’ votes are protected from foreign interference.

John,

Every week, there are new headlines warning us of outside attacks on our elections. Yet, Congress remains bogged down in partisan politics rather than uniting against a common threat.

Just last week, the top cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security made clear that the time for action is now, saying we as a nation must move “with greater speed and greater aggressiveness” to address the problem. He also made clear: Congress plays a critical role in keeping our elections secure.

Sign now to urge our elected officials to put country over party and protect our elections from foreign attacks before it’s too late.

How many warning signs does Congress need until it confronts this danger to our democracy?

Until Congress acts, our gate is wide open for attacks from Russia, China, Iran, and others.

The moment is now. Tell Congress to seize the opportunity to stop foreign actors from undermining our elections. Sign the petition today.

Issue One will continue this fight until Congress takes action to protect the votes of the American people, but we can not do this without your help.

With your help, we can win this fight.
