The voters have spoken and I respect the choice of the voters. I just called to congratulate Eli Crane on a hard fought victory to serve a second term and to offer my assistance to help move our district forward.

We are incredibly proud of the campaign we ran and deeply grateful to everyone who joined us on this journey. To all of Team Nez, volunteers, donors, and supporters who poured their hearts into this race — thank you. Your passion and dedication made this campaign possible, and I will be forever inspired by your commitment to building a better future.

This campaign led to a historic turnout from tribal nations and rural communities. Although we didn’t get the outcome we hoped for, the work we began together is not over. Our district deserves leaders who will keep fighting for all people, and I promise to continue advocating for the issues that brought us together.

We will continue to strive to overcome divisiveness and build a nation rooted in shared values and aspirations.

Thank you again for being part of this historic movement. I am grateful for each and every one of you who believed in and fought for our campaign and for the great people of Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District. I look forward to seeing all that we can achieve together in the future.

As we move forward, my family and myself will keep the people of our district, state and country in our prayers.
