Friend, Debbie was proud to pass the EARLY Act back in 2010, and we’re proud to stand with her to call for the reauthorization of this important legislation. Please see below and sign on right away.

Friend,
It’s been nearly 12 years since I officially became a survivor of breast cancer.
Cancer is both a monster and a teacher. I learned firsthand how nothing in life should be taken for granted. And now, when I face challenges, I remind myself that they pale in comparison to those who are battling breast cancer.
Last month, I was proud to introduce legislation that would re-authorize and increase funding for the Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Requires Learning Young Act (EARLY) Act. Will you join me in calling for reauthorization of the EARLY Act?
This legislation is based on the sound science that early detection is key for survival. Early detection relies on research, education, and advocacy. The EARLY Act became law in 2010 when I introduced it after my fight with breast cancer. Since then, the law has empowered younger and higher risk women with information and resources to help them understand their breast health and their personal risks of getting breast cancer.
I hope you'll join me in calling for the EARLY Act to be reauthorized.
Thank you,
Debbie Wasserman Schultz
