I know the last few days haven’t gone how we’d hoped. 

I’ve been through some tough times in my life. Times when it seemed foolish to hope, when the outcome was uncertain. I got through those tough times by fighting my way to the other side. Today, tomorrow, and the next day, we have to fight. 

With Republican control of the Senate assured, every seat that we win is a check on their control. I won’t shy away from working with anyone if it’s in the best interest of Arizona, but whatever power we retain is a mechanism for fighting the worst that might come our way. 

My race is still too close to call. There are hundreds of thousands of votes yet to be counted. We need to run through the tape and win this seat in Arizona.
