Tell Biden it’s time to finally fulfill his promise and take Cuba off the State Sponsor of Terrorism list before he leaves office.

Dear John,

I’m thrilled to invite you to join me on CODEPINK’s upcoming delegation to Cuba, from January 4 to January 11, 2025. This journey offers a rare chance to experience Cuba’s culture, resilience, and warmth at a pivotal moment, as Cubans face ongoing challenges imposed by U.S. policies. Under the Trump administration’s return, we anticipate a tightening of travel restrictions, potentially making this January one of the last chances to visit freely and stand in solidarity with the Cuban people.

👉 Register here <[link removed]>before November 29, 2024

If you can’t join us in Cuba, you can still support the Cuban people by helping us raise $100,000 to support the children of Cuba <[link removed]>who, due to the U.S. blockade, are facing severe shortages of milk and essential supplies.

Trump’s last term brought 243 additional sanctions on Cuba, impacting essential goods, healthcare, and economic growth. These sanctions continued under the Biden administration, and have had a devastating impact that has led to a massive wave of migration. Our delegation provides a unique opportunity to learn about the crises facing the Cuban people and support them in their efforts to build a better future. By joining us, you’ll gain a firsthand understanding of how Cuba’s evolving economy and social structures are adapting under these pressures, all while participating in a meaningful exchange rooted in friendship and respect.

You’ll have a unique opportunity to:

- Meet Cuban activists, educators, and entrepreneurs who are leading community projects and creating new opportunities in the cooperative and private sectors,
- Visit social development projects, organic farms, and ecological communities that showcase Cuba’s innovative approaches to sustainability,
- Engage in rich cultural exchanges as you experience the vibrant music, art, and cuisine that define Cuba’s spirit and resilience,
- Explore Cuba’s evolving political landscape and witness the profound effects of the U.S. blockade on the daily lives of ordinary Cubans.

This is more than just a trip;  it’s a way to add your voice to the call for ending the U.S. blockade and show solidarity with the Cuban people. Together, we’ll learn from Cuba’s rich history and stand united in our commitment to a future rooted in friendship, peace, and mutual respect.

Spaces are limited, and the deadline to register is November 29 <[link removed]>, so don’t wait. Join us to make a difference in the lives of Cubans while deepening your own understanding of their ongoing struggle and resilience.

Peace and solidarity,
Medea, Michelle and the CODEPINK Team
