ID and Tax Still Makes Sense - This is a great opportunity for lawmakers to improve the position of American citizens in the labor market. Congress can create a method for undocumented immigrants who pass criminal background checks to earn conditional work permits that require that they work for employers who deduct and match taxes. Coupling this with increased IRS enforcement on “who qualifies as an employee versus a subcontractor” would be a big advantage to US citizen workers.

Second Pandemic of Frivolous Litigation Will Plague Healthcare Workers, Bankrupt Small Businesses  - Without action in this Congress, this is going to be a familiar story for small business owners, doctors, nurses, first responders, anyone and everyone who could potentially be blamed for another person contracting the virus.
