Purpose: The Texas Department of Transportation's Odessa District is proposing a project that would include widening approximately 24 miles of U.S. 285 from SH 302 to RM 52 in Reeves County, Texas to a four-lane divided highway with two lanes in each direction, as well as both inside and outside shoulders. In addition, a new interchange option is proposed at RM 652 in Orla.
