VOTE FROM HOME 2020 [[link removed]]

Hi John ,

Our launch yesterday was a huge success with big political names and activists across the country getting on board with our mission of expanding vote-by-mail in 2020 so we can have safe, secure elections. Fast Company [[link removed]] featured us, identifying our work to “mobilize almost half a million “dual-risk voters”: those citizens most at risk of both the coronavirus and not having access to the ballot box as voting in person becomes more dangerous.”

This was an amazing start for our movement, but we still need 88 more founding donors to hit our goal and stay on track to expand vote by mail opportunities for voters in swing states. We can’t let COVID-19 stop us from campaigning and defeating Donald Trump. Vote From Home 2020 is filling a critical gap. [[link removed]]

“This group will make sure swing state voters get a mail-in ballot so they don’t have to risk in-person voting” - Fast Company

We also received support from some big voices in the progressive community like Jon Favreau, founder of Crooked Media, who knows that it’s key to get mail-in ballot applications to voters.

And Cecile Richards, former President of Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the Co-Founder of Supermajority, also joined the chorus supporting our launch:

"No one should have to choose between their right to vote and their health. During this pandemic, we must find ways to protect everyone’s right to vote while prioritizing safety above anything else. That’s why I’m proud to support the new Vote From Home 2020 initiative in their effort to expand vote-by-mail in the 2020 elections and ensure that every American has the opportunity to vote, and vote safely, this November." -- Cecile Richards, Co-Founder, Supermajority PAC

Campaigning doesn’t stop in the age of COVID-19. We must get creative and empower volunteers across the country like Stephanie who, along with dozens of other grassroots activists, joined our movement as well. We’re glad Stephanie is on board!

We’re grateful for all of the people who joined our team so far. We can’t let social distancing stop us from reaching out to voters and defeating Donald Trump.

And we need you to join us too! Sign up today to become a Founding Donor of Vote From Home 2020. Remember, with just a $25 donation, we will be able to reach out to 20 critical voters in swing states to help them vote-by-mail so that they won’t have to choose between their health and their right to vote in November. We have 173 days to go. Let’s make it count.

Thank you,
Vote From Home 2020 Team

Vote From Home 2020 is a grassroots movement that's making vote by mail more accessible. With a $25 donation, we'll send vote by mail applications to 20 voters. COVID-19 has brought America to a halt, and with it almost all in-person voter mobilization efforts. While volunteers can’t get on buses to swing states or go door-to-door right now, there is a huge opportunity for progressives, especially in solidly blue states, to get out the vote where it counts. By sending vote by mail ballots to targeted states and following up with text and calls to voters, we can ensure the 2020 general election is safe and accessible. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $25 so consider donating that today to support voting rights. [[link removed]]
