I am grateful to the voters of the 28th district for choosing me to be their voice in Congress for another two years. But I'm also writing to you with a heavy heart at the results of the presidential election on Tuesday. It’s okay to feel sad, scared, angry, confused, and more, but that doesn’t mean we can give up. The next four years are uncertain. But one thing I’m not uncertain about is that we will continue to stand up for ourselves, our families, and the future of our country. We may have been knocked down, but we will come back even stronger. I’m so proud of all of the hard work you have all put in during this election cycle. We put up a fight for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, and just like Kamala said this week, sometimes the fight takes a while. I am honored that you all have trusted me to lead you through these next few years, and I will never give up working for you.
